Carmen is mainly a story of gelousy, love and passion. When Jose falls for the passional Carmen, he ends killing all her numerous lovers beacuse of the gealousy he feels. This movies was well received because of the costumes and ambientation but also received several critics regarding the poor passion the two main actors felt for each other.
